Do I need to be home when you service my property?

No you don’t. As long as we have access to any gated areas and your pets are inside, we’re good to go.

How often are the treatments?

Pest control services are done every 3 weeks. Mosquito control treatments are applied April to September. Tick control treatments are applied April to late October/early November. Deer repellent is done every 3-4 weeks November to March or all year if needed.

Lawn Care services are every 5-6 weeks.

Additional services such as Ornamental treatments and Weed Control are done every 3 weeks or as needed.

When can we use our yard?

For natural tick and mosquito control, there is no re-entry requirement like you would have with a chemical application. You could let it dry for 30 minutes if you want, since pets can be sensitive to essential oils when they are still wet.

For chemical weed control applications, you should stay off the lawn for 24 hours.

Will rain affect the application?

Rain 24+ hours later seems to have very little impact. If it rains heavily just a few hours after spraying, then that could cause problems. A spreader sticker used for organic farming is added to the mixture which helps the product adhere through the rain.

A lot of rain creates better conditions for mosquitoes to reproduce, so this will also affect your treatments indirectly.

Does my grass need to be mowed first?

Tall grass is a good habitat for ticks and mosquitoes. Keeping your grass mowed will help control them, but it is not necessary to mow your lawn right before having the treatment done unless it’s extremely overgrown.
